Anatone is a small community in the southeast corner of Washington, only a few miles from the Idaho and Oregon borders. With the Snake River to the east, the Grande Ronde River to the south and the Blue Mountains to the west it's a great place for hiking, hunting, fishing and raising a family.
While few people actually live in the town, a lot of us live out on the flats (wheat fields and family farms) and up in the woods next to the Blue Mountains. Winters can get a little rough but there is always snowmobiling to keep us busy . Summers are busy on the farms and ranches along with swimming and boating in the rivers.
While farming, ranching and working 'in town' (Lewiston or Clarkston about 25 miles away) take up a lot of time we also like to do things with our families and neighbors. This is where the Anatone Community Hall shines! We have been around for many years but our real 'claim to fame' is Anatone Day, held the last Saturday of the last full weekend in June. We also have several events a year and rent our Hall to any member of the community for their events like weddings and family reunions.
